I awoke this morning;
My thoughts are of you.
As they are of you;
Proving this love is true.

The sun through my window;
Fills up the room.
The way your light shines;
And washes away the gloom.

When I think of you;
It brightens my day.
Letting me know, I love you;
In that old-fashioned way.

You stay in my heart;
All the day long.
And I think of you;
When I hear our special song.

And in my dreams you are;
When I go to sleep.
Until I awake again;
With thoughts of you, I keep.
