Insane Nation

Remember with me;
If you will,
To when we were free;
Before, we came to steal.

Fleeing persecution;
To live with no law,
Too busy with evolution;
To see ourselves fall.

Running as fast as we can;
To escape our great demise,
Becoming All-American;
Covering our past with lies.

What a great web we wove;
So great it covers the earth,
Tangled terribly in the grove;
The insanity started at birth.
