The Sea Spider

The Spider sat by the sea;
 and wondered, what could be.
If she only had a boat;
 then away she would float.
Carefree, drifting with ease;
 spinning webs in the breeze.
When the boat came to rest;
 she would build a nest.
She would lay her young;
 and sail off into the sun.
She slowly closed her eyes;
 then laid down and died.
Along came a wave;
 that took her to her grave.
Now she is free;
 and no Spider, sits by the sea.
