Spirit

To exhale my soul, 
and escape my fleshy shell;
to exist in another dimension, 
away from this hell.

To release my energy, 
and change frequency; 
to vibrate all around you, 
yet you cannot see.

To live eternally free, 
no concern for tomorrow; 
to no longer feel, 
neither grief nor sorrow.

To be as light on a beam, 
wandering wherever may;
to live within a dream, 
watching over every day.

To have everlasting knowledge, 
connected to every thing;
to feel the universal truth, 
flowing along a string.

To visit my favorite place in time, 
when I was with you;
to be in your arms again, 
stuck together like glue.

To transcend dimensions, 
travel time and space;
to discover infinite wisdom, 
and gaze upon your face.

To acquire enlightenment, 
beyond mortal reign;
to cast away this shell, 
released from all my pain.
