Winning to Lose

Where I was once your rock,
your strength;
I have become nothing more than a pebble,
to toss aside;
you have become the rock,
and crushed me to gravel.

Crushed into sand,
under the heel of your foot;
and blown away by the wind,
never to be seen again.

You stand a mighty mountain,
majestic and strong;
upon that pedestal,
where I once resided.

You have conquered the Lonely King,
and banished him to the wind;
to reign as the Queen of Loneliness,
over the Kingdom of Nothing.
